Prince Bidemi Akintunde-Stainless, a prominent figure within the APC and an aspirant for the Chairmanship of Ikosi Isheri LCDA, shared his thoughts on the nomination over the weekend. In his statement, he acknowledged the significance of being mentioned among the leaders in Kosofe for such a vital position, emphasizing that it was a recognition of his efforts as a leader in the community.

“To be honest with you, I always say it’s only God that crowns people, it’s only God that positions people,” Prince Akintunde-Stainless remarked. “I am very proud of every resident of Kosofe, and I am glad that my name has been mentioned. It’s an honor to see that among the leaders in Kosofe, my name is also being considered for an important position like a commissioner in Lagos State. I am humble, I am honored, and I want to say thank you to everybody who mentioned my name.”

Prince Akintunde-Stainless further expressed that the nomination was not solely about securing the position but rather a sign that his efforts as a leader were being recognized and appreciated. He viewed the list as an encouragement to work harder and continue making positive contributions to the community. He highlighted the importance of persistence and faith, noting that one should not view setbacks as failures but as stepping stones towards future success.

“I just want to congratulate everybody whose names were mentioned. The fact that our names were included is a call to more service,” Prince Akintunde-Stainless stated. “It means there is something we are doing that makes people believe in us and our ability to deliver. We need to continue doing what we are doing, be upright, and set an example for others to follow.”

Expressing his gratitude once again, Prince Akintunde-Stainless extended his well wishes to all stakeholders mentioned in the list. He emphasized that the recognition he received was a testament to the efforts put forth in the political environment, which had resonated positively with his constituents. He concluded by expressing his hopes for a successful outcome, not only for himself but also for the governor, other leaders, and the people of Lagos State.

“I just want to wish everyone well, and I pray that whoever becomes the commissioner is the person whom God has destined for the role,” Prince Akintunde-Stainless concluded. “I wish the governor, Lagos State, our leaders, and every resident of Kosofe well. I also extend my wishes to Nigeria as a whole. Let us continue to work together for the betterment of our community and nation.”
