The heartwarming story of a single mother’s gratitude and the generosity of UK-based journalist, Dare Lasisi, has captured the essence of compassion in these challenging times.

A single mother recently displayed the items she purchased with a N10,000 cash gift from Dare Lasisi, expressing her heartfelt appreciation to the journalist for his benevolence.

Dare Lasisi, known for his roles as a tech guru, journalist, and security consultant, has gained recognition for his unique way of giving back.

He has consistently distributed laptops and cash gifts to strangers and friends on social media, particularly Facebook, over the years.

The recent act of kindness began when Dare Lasisi announced his intention to distribute N150,000, offering N5,000 to each beneficiary. However, his dedication to making a difference exceeded his initial budget, ultimately reaching N250,000. In a post shared on Saturday, he revealed that he had even approved an additional N100,000 that very morning.

One beneficiary in particular, a single mother, shared her story of how she used the N10,000 cash gift. She not only expressed her sincere gratitude but also demonstrated the impact of Dare Lasisi’s generosity by showcasing the items she had purchased to sustain herself and her 5-year-old son. The mother’s resourcefulness and appreciation resonated deeply with Dare Lasisi, who was moved by her honesty and commitment.

In his own words, Dare Lasisi explained, “She will keep the remaining money for other personal use. I believed her words 100%, but she convinced me further with this photo. I will never mention her name, but she will surely read all your comments.”

Lasisi, affectionately known as “Baba Karamo” by his supporters, received an outpouring of commendation from his Facebook community.

The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude, while others praised his positive impact on the lives of the less fortunate, particularly during Nigeria’s economic challenges.
