In a move aimed at enhancing effective service delivery and expressing appreciation to its cabinet members, Princess Samiat Bada, the Chairman of Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA), presented a fleet of cars to officials and cabinet members of the local government. The presentation, which took place yesterday at a modest event held at the council head office in Ikosi, marked the fulfillment of a pledge made by Princess Bada.

Addressing the attendees, Princess Bada underscored the significance of the gesture in furthering the council’s commitment to efficient governance. She emphasized that the provision of cars to her cabinet members was not only a fulfillment of her promise but also an essential step towards improving their efficiency in serving the people of Ikosi Isheri.

“This gesture is a tangible demonstration of our dedication to ensuring that our cabinet members can carry out their duties without unnecessary hindrances. By providing them with these vehicles, we are enabling them to navigate their responsibilities effectively,” stated Princess Bada during her speech.

The Chairman urged the recipients of the vehicles to rededicate themselves to the service of the community, stressing the importance of remaining steadfast in their commitment to uplifting the lives of the local residents. The event was marked by an atmosphere of gratitude and renewed determination among the officials present.

In an exclusive interview, Princess Bada elaborated on the rationale behind the car presentation. She explained that the cars were not only a means of expressing gratitude but also a way to alleviate potential work-related stress that the officials might encounter. By facilitating their mobility, the council aims to enable its supervisors and Special Assistants to carry out their duties efficiently.

The beneficiaries of this generous gesture, which includes supervisors and Special Assistants, lauded the Council Chairman for her commitment to improving their working conditions. They expressed their belief that the provision of these vehicles would significantly enhance their effectiveness and enable them to better serve the community of Ikosi Isheri LCDA.

This isn’t the first time Princess Bada has demonstrated her dedication to facilitating efficient governance through the provision of vehicles. In the previous year, she presented a Toyota Highlander XLE 2018 to her Deputy and an impressive Lexus 330: 2004/2005 Model to each of the legislators, a move that further showcased her commitment to the welfare of her team.
