Former Rep. Rotimi Agunsoye’s Delegation Offers Heartfelt Condolences to Late Hon. Bosun Jeje’s Widow

In a touching display of support and solidarity, Hon. Prince Rotimi Agunsoye, the former member of the House of Representatives for Kosofe Federal Constituency, extended his condolences to Mrs. Tokunbo Jeje, the widow of the late Hon. Bosun Jeje, former Commissioner for Housing in Lagos State.

Despite being unable to attend in person due to prior commitments, Hon. Agunsoye sent a delegation led by Seyi Odufowokan, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikosi-Isheri Local Government Area, to convey his heartfelt sympathies and offer unwavering support to the grieving family.

On Tuesday morning, the delegation arrived at the Magodo residence of the late Bosun Jeje, with Mr. Seyi Odufowokan and loyalists of Hon. Agunsoye expressing their deepest condolences to the bereaved widow. They assured her that Hon. Agunsoye and the APC family stood in solidarity with her during this challenging period.

Speaking on behalf of Hon. Agunsoye, Odufowokan stated, “We are here today to extend our condolences and stand with you in your time of sorrow. This loss is not just a personal one for your family but is felt by the entire Lagos State, as we collectively mourn the passing of the late Hon. Bosun Jeje. He was a dedicated public servant and a loving husband and father.”

Odufowokan also conveyed that Hon. Agunsoye would personally visit Mrs. Jeje to offer his condolences as soon as he returns to Lagos.

Overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support, Mrs. Tokunbo Jeje expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Agunsoye and the entire delegation.

Hon. Agunsoye had previously paid tribute to the late Hon. Bosun Jeje, highlighting his exceptional leadership qualities and unwavering commitment to public service immediately upon hearing of his passing. He emphasized that Jeje’s legacy would endure, and his contributions to the development of Lagos State would serve as an inspiration for generations to come.

The condolence visit concluded with heartfelt prayers offered in both Muslim and Christian traditions, seeking peaceful repose for the late Hon. Bosun Jeje’s soul and strength and courage for the grieving widow and her family during this challenging period.
