The Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Moyosore Ogunlewe, Esq, exhibited compassion and generosity as he distributed cash gifts, foodstuffs, and essential items to over 1,000 households in the recently displaced Oworonshoki area of Lagos. This benevolent act comes in response to the challenges faced by residents affected by the Lagos State Government’s demolition exercise aimed at restoring the Kosofe Master Plan Development.
The grateful beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt appreciation to Chairman Ogunlewe for his timely assistance during this critical period. They fervently prayed for Almighty God to bless and reward him abundantly while also asking for wisdom and enablement in steering the council’s ship safely.
Chairman Ogunlewe’s visit was marked by the presence of his Vice-Chairman, Hon. Oluwole Sosanya, Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Fatai Gbadebo, Chief of staff, Councilors, supervisors, and Senior Special Assistants, among others. This collective effort highlighted the unity and dedication of Kosofe Local Government officials in supporting their community during challenging times.
The distribution of cash gifts, foodstuffs, and essential items not only provided immediate relief to the affected households but also demonstrated the commitment of local government authorities to the well-being of their constituents. The chairman’s initiative in extending a helping hand to those in need serves as a shining example of leadership and community support.
