Ojurayo, John Omowo Families Host Grand After-Burial Party for Deaconess Ajoke Rachael Ojurayo Sadiku

On the evening of Friday, September 14, 2023, a vibrant and heartwarming celebration unfolded at the Tamroyal Event Centre in Alapere, as the Ojurayo and John Omowo families came together to host a grand after-burial party in honor of their beloved mother, Deaconess Ajoke Rachael Ojurayo Sadiku (John Omowo). The event, filled with joy and cultural splendor, paid tribute to the remarkable life of the late Deaconess who passed away at the age of 80.


The Tamroyal Event Centre, located on Ajibola Crescent Alapere, opposite Agidi Comprehensive High School, Agboyi Ketu, Kosofe, was buzzing with activity as family members, friends, and dignitaries from both near and far gathered to support the well-known Ojurayo Sadiku family. The occasion was nothing short of glamorous, with guests adorning beautiful Aso Ebi outfits, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.
The festivities were set in motion with the lively tunes of a live band, and the crowd erupted in dance as the popular Kosofe master of ceremony, Meje Meje, took the stage, entertaining the audience throughout the evening.


However, the true highlight of the event was when each of the late Deaconess Ajoke Rachel Ojurayo Sadiku’s five children, accompanied by their households and friends, graced the dance floor one after the other. Their performances were a heartwarming tribute to their mother, showcasing the unity and love within the family.


Deaconess Ajoke Rachael Ojurayo Sadiku was remembered by her children as a woman who lived a good life and left a lasting legacy. Her influence extended far beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of those in her community and church. Her passing left a void, but the after-burial party was a testament to the joy and love that she brought into the lives of all who knew her.
