Lagos Lions, Oloworo Palace Unite Against Hunger

In a heartwarming display of compassion and unity, the Lagos International Lagos Metropolitan Lions Club District 40483 joined forces with the revered Palace of the Oba of Oworonshoki for a significant initiative titled “Supporting the Elderly and Combating Hunger.”

Amidst the festive season, this noble endeavor illuminated the Oworonshoki community as over 500 essential food items and crucial medical supplies were generously distributed. The gracious presence of Oba Babatunde Saliu Oloworo of Oworonshoki II, along with the active participation of Queen Olori Maryam Olubukola Saliu, added a regal touch, highlighting the royal family’s commitment to community welfare.

More than just a charitable act, this collaborative effort between the Lions Club and the Palace emerged as a beacon of hope and solidarity during challenging times. Beyond immediate relief, the event symbolized the strength of collective action in fostering empathy and creating positive societal impacts.
