Comrade Abdulwaheed Odunuga lauded Member of the House of Representatives representing Kosofe constituency, Hon. Kafilat Ogbara, for her Christmas outreach to residents. However, Odunuga, while acknowledging the commendable gesture during the country’s cash crunch, urged lawmakers to shift their attention towards impactful programs and projects within Kosofe.

Expressing his views on Tuesday, Odunuga emphasized, “Coming to the aid of the less privileged people at this trying time is commendable, but our Hon House of Representative Member should focus more on programs and projects that will bring our people out of poverty.”

He urged a performance evaluation based on legislative contributions, nominated and executed constituency projects, and the diligent execution of oversight functions.

Odunuga and other concerned residents cautioned the lawmaker against succumbing to what he described as “chop and clean mouth syndrome” among political sycophants.
