The Adoyi-Alaashe Chieftaincy and Royal Family of Lagos recently hosted their annual get-together, blending tradition with celebration during the special 80th birthday party for Prince Rasaq Abiodun Ogunshi Odunsi-Eshinlokun. Joining the octogenarian club on December 10, 2023, the occasion marked a milestone for the royal family.
The Adoyi-Alaashe Chieftaincy and Royal Family Day, an annual event, serves as a forum for different branches to connect, socialize, and honor deserving members and friends. More importantly, it becomes a platform to unite in the pursuit of reclaiming their rightful throne in the Ake Alo area of Kosofe.
On January 1, 2024, the festivities continued with a special party organized by Oba Alaashe Elect Of Oke-Alo-Gbagada, Kabiyesi Abeeb Adesina Faronbi. Joined by other members of the Royal Family, they gathered at Oba Elect Palace Annex in Lagos for a Thanksgiving ceremony, expressing gratitude with celebrant Prince Odunsi-Eshinlokun.
During the event, Oba Faronbi offered fervent prayers and supplications, wishing Prince Odunsi-Eshinlokun long life, good health, and a sound mind. The royal revelry echoed with joy as the community came together to celebrate tradition, family, and the esteemed legacy of the Adoyi-Alashe Chieftaincy and Royal Family.
