HRM Oba Abeeb Adesina Akolawole Ajani Faronbi, the Oba Elect of Oke Alo, Area of Kosofe, Lagos, currently enjoying a winter vacation in New Jersey, USA, has expressed his dismay over the brutally cold weather in his host country and is set to return to Nigeria.

The Oba Faronbi’s encounter was shared on Facebook through a video accompanied by text on Tuesday, where he lamented the harsh conditions in Irvington, New Jersey, describing it as unfriendly and bitterly cold.

In the video, Oba Faronbi stated, “The weather in Irvington, New Jersey, was not friendly at all. It’s very harsh and very cold and unfriendly. Therefore, the harsh weather is telling me indirectly that it is the right time for me to pack my bags and baggages to my beloved Naija. South, North, East, and West, there’s no place like home.”

Despite his eagerness to return to Nigeria, Oba Faronbi expressed deep appreciation to his host “Yankees” for their care, hospitality, unflinching support, and unalloyed support. He assured them of his visitation in the summer of 2024, indicating his gratitude for their kindness during his stay.
