The Supervisor for Youth in Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area, Hon. Mutiu Kalejaiye, has officially announced his bid to vie for the Agboyi Ketu Chairmanship seat in the upcoming 2025 elections.
Kalejaiye revealed his aspirations during an exclusive conversation with senior correspondents from Kosofe Post this past Saturday. Emphasizing his earnest desire to contest for the Chairmanship, he highlighted extensive consultations already undertaken and ongoing efforts to garner widespread support and endorsement from constituents. He reassured the community of his dedication, pledging not to falter in his responsibilities if entrusted with the esteemed position.
Notably, Kosofe Post reported a burgeoning pool of contenders eyeing the coveted Council seat. However, Kalejaiye stands out as the first aspirant to unequivocally declare his candidacy, eschewing any ambiguity in his intentions.
As the 2025 local government elections loom closer, the tenure of numerous local administrations, including the Agboyi Ketu LCDA led by Mayor Dele Oshinowo, draws to a close in July 2025. With the political landscape poised for change, Kalejaiye’s entrance into the race sets the stage for a spirited electoral contest, promising a dynamic shift in local governance dynamics.
