The Executive Chairman of Oriade LCDA, Lagos State, Hon. Ramotalai Olanrewaju Akinlola Hasan, has announced the commencement of construction projects aimed at enhancing infrastructure within the council areas.
In a press statement issued on February 28, Hon. Hasan highlighted the significance of the initiative, emphasizing the council’s commitment to infrastructural development. The statement conveyed the official opening of bids for the construction of two roads under the 114 Roads Project, marking a significant milestone in Oriade LCDA’s efforts to improve connectivity and accessibility for residents.
The ceremony, held in the Conference Room of the Oriade LCDA Council Secretariat, was presided over by Hon. Moshood Badmus, representing the Executive Chairman. Also in attendance were Hon. Tunde Musa, Supervisor for Works, alongside other esteemed Executive Members and senior management team members.
The road construction projects include Lot 1, covering Ade Osho Street in Ijegun Egba, and Lot 2, encompassing Olaayemi Street in Mazamaza. These projects are integral components of Oriade LCDA’s broader strategy to enhance the quality of life for residents by improving infrastructure.
Hon. Hasan emphasized the transparent and accountable approach adopted by the council in project execution, ensuring that the best interests of the community are served. The presence of reputable contractors and members of the press underscored the council’s commitment to transparency and stakeholder engagement.
In expressing gratitude to stakeholders such as Jidsman Company and Bin Umar Investment Limited for their support and collaboration, Hon. Hasan reiterated the council’s dedication to realizing its vision for a more prosperous and resilient Oriade LCDA.
