Comrade Japheth Receives Endorsement from Ikorodu Leaders

Comrade Japheth Abolade Odesanya, the Chairmanship aspirant for the Ikorodu Local Government and symbol of the ‘Kolujo’ team, has garnered endorsements from prominent personalities in Ikorodu.

The endorsement, which came from influential chieftains of the foremost traditional institution in Ikorodu, Eluku, and other significant figures, highlights the growing momentum behind Odesanya’s aspiration.

Tayo Odetayo, handling the ‘Kolujo’ publicity, revealed that key Ikorodu chieftains, including the Olumale Eluku, High Chief Olabanji Oreagba, Odofin of Ikorodu, Odofin Adewunmi Ogunsanya (SAN), and the Executive Secretary of the Ikorodu Division Peace Initiative Limited (IDPIL), Otunba Ganiyu Abiru, among others, openly endorsed Odesanya’s candidacy.

The endorsement ceremony at the Eluku Palace, Itunpate, witnessed a warm reception and enthusiastic support from the movers and shakers of Ikorodu’s sociocultural landscape.

High Chief Olabanji Oreagba’s declaration of Odesanya as “my incoming chairman” and Chief Adewunmi Ogunsanya’s assurance of support reflected the depth of endorsement Odesanya received.

Otunba Ganiu Abiru’s affirmation, “this is our next local government chairman,” and Chief Wasiu Akinsanya’s declaration in the Ijebu dialect, “uwó nwà” (you are the chosen), further solidified Odesanya’s standing within the community.

In response, the ‘Kolujo’ publicist expressed gratitude to the personalities who endorsed Odesanya, promising not to take their trust for granted. He reiterated the team’s commitment to fulfilling the aspirations of the community.

The occasion marked a milestone for the ‘Kolujo’ team, reinforcing their determination to lead Ikorodu with integrity and dedication.

“WE ARE MORE THAN GRATEFUL! To Kólùjó is to be a Japhet. Eluku ti s’òrò. ÌLÚ gangan ti s’òrò!”
