Senator Adetokunbo Abiru Marks 60th Birthday with Generous Outreach to Vulnerable Constituents

Senator Adetokunbo Abiru, representing Lagos East Senatorial District, celebrated his 60th birthday on March 25th by extending a helping hand to vulnerable members of his constituency who are grappling with economic hardship. In a heartwarming gesture, Senator Abiru distributed food items to thousands of households across the district during a special event held at his constituency office in Ikorodu, Lagos State.

Addressing the gathering, Senator Abiru, represented by his media aide, Mr Enitan Olutokun, expressed gratitude to the people of Lagos East for their support and trust, acknowledging the significant role played by party leaders, particularly President Bola Tinubu, in his political journey. He also thanked his wife, Fesyisola, and children for their unwavering support and described his wife as his pillar of strength.

Recognizing the economic challenges faced by many constituents, Senator Abiru emphasized the importance of prioritizing the needs of the vulnerable during these difficult times. He underscored his commitment to providing assistance to those most in need, highlighting his decision to distribute food packs to over 10,000 households across the senatorial district.

Senator Abiru reiterated his dedication to fulfilling his mandate through legislative initiatives, empowerment programs, and community outreach efforts. He emphasized that this latest outreach is part of his ongoing commitment to serving the people of Lagos East, citing previous humanitarian interventions such as the COVID-19 Financial Relief Scheme, which provided direct financial assistance to thousands of vulnerable individuals in the district.

Looking ahead, Senator Abiru expressed optimism that ongoing efforts by the Federal Government and the state government to address food security and economic stability would alleviate the current hardships faced by constituents.
