Councillor Kehinde Saliu Sets the Record Straight: No Aspirations for 2025 Kosofe Chairmanship Seat

In a recent statement released through a private WhatsApp chat, Hon. (Prince) Kehinde Raheem Saliu, the incumbent Councillor for Ward B Oworonshoki, has refuted circulating rumors regarding his alleged candidacy for the 2025 Kosofe local government Chairmanship seat.

Contrary to online reports, Hon. Saliu has made it clear that he is not eyeing or running for the esteemed position in the upcoming elections. Instead, he emphasized his commitment to showcasing his achievements and stewardship for his constituents during his current term.

Highlighting his dedication to community development, Hon. Saliu showcased notable achievements, including the initiation of the construction of three water fetching points for Ward B Oworonshoki residents. With two of these projects already completed and one nearing completion, his efforts in addressing essential community needs are evident.

Furthermore, Hon. Saliu expressed his full support for Hon. Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe’s candidacy for a second term as the Consensus Candidate for the 2025 Kosofe local government Chairmanship seat. As the Majority Leader of the 7th Kosofe Legislative Arm, he emphasized the council’s respect for the decision of the Lagos State Governing Advisory Council (GAC) Kosofe LGA, led by Otunba Bushura Alebiosu and Omoba Olumiyiwa Sosanya.

In unequivocal terms, Hon. (Prince) Kehinde Saliu reiterated his stance, stating that he has no aspirations for the 2025 Kosofe local government Chairmanship seat.
