Residents of Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA), an integral part of Kosofe Local Government, have urged potential successors to outgoing Chairman, Princess Samiat Bada, to prioritize impactful infrastructural development over political jamboree and photo-ops.

In an online opinion survey conducted by this medium, residents expressed their expectations for the incoming administrator before political activities overshadow essential community needs.

Rotimi Ademola emphasized the need for improved accountability and transparency in tax payer utilization to attract more revenues. He stressed that the Freedom of Information Act 2000 should empower residents to know how their taxes are spent.

Olusola Emmanuel Adedayo called for an all-inclusive government, urging the next chairman to plug wastages, avoid unnecessary spending, and focus on delivering impactful infrastructural development across all wards of the LCDA.

However, Kalejaiye M. Afolabi, the Special Adviser for Youth in Agboyi Ketu LCDA, diverted the discussion to constitutional-related matters, emphasizing the importance of adhering to electoral laws in selecting the right candidate.
