A member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kosofe chapter, Oloye Seun Salami, has raised eyebrows over recent pageantry pictures circulated by supporters of Hon. Kafilat Ogbara, the lawmaker representing Kosofe Federal Constituency of Lagos.

The release of these pictures shortly after Ogbara’s participation in the House of Representatives Committee on Public Petitions hearing on Wednesday drew criticism from Oloye Salami, who emphasized that the people of Kosofe did not send the lawmaker to Abuja for a photo exhibition.

“One year is almost gone,” remarked Oloye Salami, highlighting the need for tangible achievements over mere photo opportunities. He urged Hon. Kafilat Ogbara’s media handlers to focus on showcasing her accomplishments rather than indulging in paparazzi-style photography.

As the one-year mark in office approaches for Hon. Kafilat Ogbara, questions arise regarding her legislative achievements and constituency impact. While it may be premature to evaluate her performance compared to her predecessors’ two-term tenure, the upcoming milestone presents an opportunity for reflection and transparency.

“It would be too early to evaluate the lawmaker while her predecessors spent two terms in office,” noted Kosofe Post. However, with Ogbara nearing the one-year mark in office, expectations are high for her to highlight significant motions, bills sponsored and co-sponsored, constituency projects initiated, and employment opportunities facilitated without political bias.
