Chartered accountant Doyin Adeyemi has called on Hon. Yaccoob Ekundayo Alebiosu, the Honourable Commissioner for Waterfront and Infrastructure, to involve professionals from the Kosofe area in his ministry’s activities. Adeyemi’s remarks came in response to a recent visit by a business delegation from the Netherlands to the commissioner.
Adeyemi expressed his disappointment on social media, stating, “Showcasing Dayo Bush receiving a business delegation from the Netherlands is not what is expected on social media platforms. Without good brains from our small leadership group in Oworonsoki or the entire Kosofe to support him and we are celebrating this occasion, it’s a pure disgrace that we have no quiet direction of the exposure we needed as a group and a party.”
He emphasized the potential of the Waterfront ministry, saying, “Kindly quote me that after the Ministry of Physical Planning with all Agencies under this ministry, the next best generating Agency is Water Front. Please let Dayo Bush, who is my brother, be reset to know that we can create better wealth for our entire Kosofe at large by thinking outside the box and getting the pros from Kosofe more involved in his ministry.”
When contacted for further details on how the Waterfront ministry can generate revenue and benefit Kosofe, Adeyemi declined to provide additional comments.
Findings from the Kosofe Post indicate that less than a year after Hon. Yaccoob Ekundayo Alebiosu was appointed commissioner by the Lagos State governor, expectations for benefits and opportunities from friends, family, political supporters, and associates have been mounting.
