The residents of Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Kosofe have gathered to mourn the loss of Hon. Shola Odubiro, the Supervisor for Budget and Planning, who passed away on August 5 after a prolonged illness. The illness, which required significant financial resources, took a toll on Odubiro, whose struggle was reportedly compounded by inadequate financial support from the council.
KosofePost investigations reveal that the lack of sufficient aid from the council during his illness may have contributed to his passing. When reached for comment, Adesina Lookman, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Ikosi Isheri LCDA, acknowledged the conflicting reports regarding the council’s support but did not provide further clarification. The community continues to grieve the loss of a dedicated public servant.
