On Friday, the seven councilors under Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Kosofe, hosted simultaneous stakeholders’ meetings with their constituents. The event, tagged “Budget of Acceleration and Consolidation,” served as a platform to highlight the achievements of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA and seek input on pressing community needs.
The meeting saw the participation of politicians, community leaders, youths, market women, religious leaders, and Community Development Association (CDA) representatives, among others. It provided a unique opportunity for residents to engage with the councilors and voice concerns about their respective wards.
This event also marked a significant transition for the councilors, as they bid farewell to their roles following the Lagos State House of Assembly’s decision to comply with a Supreme Court judgment, resulting in the conclusion of the current LCDA Administrative Council.
