The Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), led by Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, paid an official visit to Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA) today to assess the achievements under Mayoress Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada. The inspection forms part of the 2024 Local Government Area and Local Council Development Area (LGA/LCDA) assessment exercise for Lagos East Senatorial District.

The GAC delegation engaged various stakeholders, including members of the Community Development Committee (CDC), League of Imams, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), artisan groups, market women, and traditional rulers, allowing them to share perspectives on the council’s community projects.

Senator Obanikoro emphasized that feedback from these groups serves as an authentic measure of Mayoress Bada’s impact, enabling the GAC to gauge the extent and quality of local developments.

Touring both completed and ongoing projects within Ikosi-Isheri, Senator Obanikoro acknowledged the council’s achievements, commending Mayoress Bada for her commitment to a responsive governance model.

He noted that her administration’s development initiatives have become a blueprint for other communities, fostering local satisfaction and driving progress.
