Dr. Osi-Apagun Lai Labode has been appointed as the Chairman of Africa Fashion Week Nigeria 2024, a prestigious role he described as both an honor and a mission. This announcement was made public through a statement by Labode on Wednesday to KosofePost (KP).
“I am honored to announce my appointment as Chairman of Africa Fashion Week Nigeria 2024! This isn’t just a role—it’s a mission to amplify Africa’s story through fashion, showcasing the rich heritage, creativity, and limitless future of our continent,” Labode stated.

Labode invited fashion enthusiasts and supporters to join the event, set for December 6-8 at Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. “Let’s make history together as we redefine what it means to wear our culture proudly. This journey isn’t just about fashion; it’s about who we are and where we’re going,” he urged.
