“Agboyi-Ketu Gets a Boost: Mayor Dele Oshinowo Flags Off 1.2km Akanimodo Road Project”

The Executive Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Kosofe, Mayor Dele Oshinowo, has announced a transformative infrastructure project in the council area, unveiling the commencement of the 1.2km Akanimodo Road project. The road will stretch from Utuh Street to St. Michael Catholic Street at Biola Bus Stop.

The announcement was made on Monday morning through a post accompanied by a video on the Chairman’s official social media handle. The post highlighted the administration’s commitment to critical infrastructure development aimed at improving the lives of residents.

“We are excited to unveil the commencement of a major development in our community! The 1.2km Akanimodo Road project marks a significant milestone for our administration. Following a heartfelt community engagement, it was inspiring to see the overwhelming joy and enthusiastic support for this transformative project,” the statement read.

The project is being facilitated through the Federal Government’s Farmers Market initiative, which is also under construction in the vicinity. Mayor Oshinowo emphasized the road’s importance to the community and expressed gratitude to the Araromi Development Association and the contractor for their collaboration and commitment to the project.

“Construction begins immediately, and we’ll keep you updated every step of the way. Together, we’re building a brighter, stronger, and more connected Agboyi-Ketu. Let’s make it happen,” the Chairman added.

This development reflects the administration’s focus on aggressive infrastructure growth and sustainable development, further underscoring its promise to transform the council area into a hub of progress.
