Saliu Adekunle Africa is set to officially declare his intention to contest for the position of councillor representing Ward A, Oworonshoki, under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The formal declaration and media chat are scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 8B Oduduwa Road, Oworonshoki, by 3:00 PM. The event is expected to draw community stakeholders, political observers, and supporters from within and outside the ward.
Africa, who is running with the campaign slogan “You Agenda,” is positioning himself as a grassroots candidate committed to development, transparency, and the inclusion of young people in governance.
Organized by Team You Agenda, the event is aimed at galvanizing support, building momentum, and formally launching Africa’s campaign for the forthcoming local government elections.
As the race for local legislative seats intensifies, political attention is shifting to Oworonshoki, where the youthful aspirant hopes to bring a fresh perspective and renewed energy to local governance.
