Agboyi-Ketu Chairmanship Aspirant Allegedly Plots to Implicate Oshinowo in Owode-Onirin Incident Ahead of APC Primary

BY KP Reporter

Olasupo Olowe, a chairmanship aspirant for the Agboyi-Ketu LCDA and a known supporter of Kafilat Ogbara, is allegedly orchestrating efforts to incite unrest among traders in Owode-Onirin market in a bid to undermine Mayor Dele ahead of Saturday’s All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for councilor in Ward G, Ajegunle.

In a leaked WhatsApp voice note, Olowe is heard attempting to rally segments of the Owode-Onirin market traders to instigate violence during the upcoming primary election. In the recording, Olowe claims that Mayor Dele had visited the market on Wednesday but was disregarded by the traders, who dismissed his relevance, saying he no longer holds influence.

Olowe further asserted that the group had already selected their preferred candidate for Agboyi Ketu Lcda Chairman — a female aspirant, Adetola Abubakar Oyedele — whose name, he insisted, would emerge victorious in Saturday’s primary.

“This means power has changed hands and now resides with Kafilat Ogbara,” Olowe is quoted as saying. “The Chancellor in Ward G Ajegunle also has a candidate, and that is where we need his influence.”

He went on to request the mobilization of 10 to 20 supporters to ensure Ogbara’s candidate’s victory, stating that these individuals would publicly endorse her candidacy in the presence of INEC officials, emphasizing that there would be no formal voting process but rather an early morning affirmation.

Olowe also mentioned plans to contact a figure named Awoko to bolster support if he was still available, while the other party on the call pledged to relay the instructions widely, emphasizing that it was a directive from Alhaja Ogbara.

As of now, neither Honourable Olowe nor Kafilat Ogbara has publicly refuted the authenticity of the leaked voice notes.
