The All Progressives Congress (APC) recently conducted a vibrant campaign rally in Kosofe Local Government ahead of the upcoming election on July 12, 2025.
The event, graced by esteemed dignitaries including Alhaja Adejumoke Animahun, Alhaji Mustapha Adekunle, Alhaji Musiliu Aigoro, Comrade Michael, and APC Deputy State Chairman Alhaji Mushood Mayegun, was marked by fervent enthusiasm and support for the party’s candidates.
The campaign kicked off with resounding acknowledgments of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Babajide Sanwoolu, and APC Lagos State Chairman Hon Cornelius Ojelabi. Emphasizing the stellar performance of the current local government chairman, Moyosore, attendees were encouraged to re-elect him to foster continued development in Kosofe Local Government.
Prominent candidates across the seven wards of Kosofe Local Government, including Mrs. Christianah Kuboye, Hon Abayomi, Hon Femi Oyesile, Hon Gbenga David, Hon Hakeem Ashafa, Hon Sulaiman Baruwa, and Hon Lekan Adebare, assured the public of their competence and dedication to serving the community.
Alhaji Mushood Mayegun, the Deputy State Chairman, extended gratitude to all participants and urged the residents to exercise their voting rights on election day to support the APC candidates. He lauded the incumbent local government chairman’s achievements and appealed to the electorate to grant him another term to further advance the welfare of the people.
Highlighting the significance of the forthcoming local government election as a prelude to the 2027 presidential election, Alhaji Mayegun urged residents to rally behind the APC candidates and demonstrate their allegiance to the party.
The incumbent chairman, Moyosore Ogunlewe assured of his readiness to do more for the people of Kosofe LGA, he noted that he’s going to deliver people oriented services to the people of Kosofe.
The campaign rally in Kosofe Local Government resonated with optimism and unity as APC supporters vowed to uphold the party’s principles and secure victory in the upcoming election.
