The France Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda on his official inauguration as the new National Chairman of Nigeria’s ruling party.
In a statement signed by the General Secretary, Hon. Akogun Olamilekan Akanni Ibrahim, and Chairperson, Hajia Aminat Suzuki Baba, the chapter described Yilwatda’s emergence as a well-deserved milestone for both the party and its leadership structure.
The France-based chapter, which includes executives and members across the French territory, said the new leadership marked a fresh opportunity for unity, growth, and strategic repositioning of the party.
“We believe Prof. Yilwatda has the capacity to offer visionary leadership that aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR,” the statement read in part.
The chapter also prayed for divine wisdom and strength for the new chairman, urging him to uphold the values of inclusiveness, discipline, impactful reforms, and unwavering party principles.
“This new chapter marks not only a personal achievement but a renewed opportunity to steer our party toward greater unity, discipline, and strategic advancement,” the group added.
Prof. Yilwatda, a renowned academic and former gubernatorial candidate in Plateau State, assumes the party’s top role at a critical time in Nigeria’s political development.
The APC France Chapter pledged its support for the new national leadership, expressing readiness to work in synergy to further the party’s progress both at home and in the diaspora.
