In its continued efforts to deepen political participation and community development across Lagos State, the Ta’awun Political Forum (TPF) paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Rahman Akanni Owokoniran, a respected political figure and former public office holder.

Led by its President, Taiwo Lasisi, the delegation met with Hon. Owokoniran at his residence on Saturday, as part of TPF’s state-wide engagement with key political stakeholders. The forum aims to promote dialogue, shared understanding, and collaboration on issues critical to socio-political and economic advancement.

During the visit, the group commended Hon. Owokoniran for his longstanding service and dedication to governance, describing his leadership as a source of inspiration for emerging civic advocates.

“We recognize your immense contributions to public service,” Lasisi said. “TPF is committed to educating citizens on political awareness, good governance, and sustainable development, and we believe that aligning with leaders like you strengthens our cause.”

In his response, Hon. Owokoniran expressed appreciation for the visit and lauded the forum’s efforts in promoting civic education and value-driven leadership.

“I am encouraged by your commitment to grassroots advocacy,” he said. “Count me in for any initiative that prioritizes inclusive development and people-first policies.”
