In a major administrative shake-up, the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, has announced the dissolution of all appointed administrative aides and members of the council’s media team.
The decision, which takes immediate effect, affects all non-pensionable appointees who were engaged at the discretion of the council leadership to support operations across various departments and initiatives within the LCDA.
While addressing the development, Princess Bada commended the affected personnel for their dedication and service during their tenure:
“I sincerely appreciate the service, loyalty, and dedication of all those affected. Your contributions are acknowledged and deeply valued.”
According to an official statement from the council, the move is part of a broader effort to realign the administrative structure in response to emerging governance priorities and a dynamic political environment. The restructuring is expected to enhance service delivery and reposition the council for improved performance.
A new administrative framework is set to be unveiled in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, residents and stakeholders have been urged to remain calm, cooperative, and optimistic as the council navigates this transition phase.
The development underscores a strategic effort by the Bada-led administration to strengthen internal processes, ensure accountability, and maintain alignment with broader policy goals for community development.
