Fatoki Marks Isese Day, Urges Youth to Uphold Yoruba Tradition

Are Bobaselu Of Esieland, Hon. Kehinde Fatoki has joined millions of Yoruba sons and daughters across the world in celebrating Isese Day, a festival dedicated to honoring Yoruba culture, traditions, and ancestral heritage.

Clad in traditional attire, adorned with beads and a staff, Fatoki paid homage to the values of Yoruba culture and reaffirmed the importance of preserving the customs handed down by forebears.

In a goodwill message shared with KosofePost (KP), he said: “Isese l’agba… Aburo bo ye oooo. Aboye bo sise,” meaning, “Tradition is supreme, and may the younger ones continue to uphold it.”

Isese Day, observed annually, is marked by Yoruba communities across the globe as a celebration of identity, spirituality, and cultural continuity.
