Founder and publisher of KosofePost, Bilesanmi Abayomi, has launched a cash support initiative in memory of his late parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bilesanmi.

Abayomi, popularly known as KOKO, made the announcement on Monday, August 25, 2025, stating that at least 10 vulnerable persons will each receive ₦10,000 before the end of August.

The philanthropist explained that the gesture was inspired by the values and legacy of his parents, his father who died in July 1992 and his mother who passed on in October 2016.

According to him, nominations for beneficiaries will be drawn from KosofePost’s in-house reporters, weekly columnists, mandated reporters, as well as regular contributors and commentators, with each nominator allowed to put forward one beneficiary.

Abayomi stressed that the scheme was part of his commitment to sustain his parents’ legacy of giving, noting that the support would be extended to vulnerable members of the community and beyond.
