KosofePost has disbursed ₦10,000 each to ten beneficiaries across different communities in memory of the late parents of its Founder and Publisher, Mr. Abayomi Bilesanmi.
The gesture, which has become a recurring act of remembrance, was aimed at honoring the late Mr. and Mrs. Bilesanmi while providing support to the less privileged.
Some nominators who facilitated the selection of beneficiaries expressed appreciation, offering prayers for the repose of the deceased and commending KosofePost for sustaining the initiative.
Omoba Awofeso, one of the nominators, prayed for peace for the departed souls, while Taiwo Lasisi Yusuf described the support as consistent, noting that beneficiaries had also received assistance during Ramadan.
Hon. Okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin lauded the remembrance gesture as exemplary, stressing that honouring parents was a noble act that brings blessings.
Beneficiaries outside Kosofe also shared their gratitude. From Alimosho, Ejiro Ataiku expressed appreciation for the support, while another beneficiary, Asekunola Ridwan, prayed for continued blessings for the sponsor.
The initiative was widely praised by community members as a laudable way of combining remembrance with humanitarian service.
