Hon. Ganiu Oyebanjo has shared a thought-provoking message on humility and the importance of support systems in personal achievements.
The lawmaker circulated a video clip, originally tagged “@sunnysmart,” in the Kosofe Reporters group. The clip features a speaker stressing that no man or woman can genuinely claim to be entirely self-made, as every successful individual benefits from help or privilege at different stages.
Reinforcing the point in his accompanying note, Oyebanjo wrote: “This is the truth, there is no self-made successful man or woman. We are all products of help and some privileges. No reason for us to be boastful and be of arrogance.”
The message, which has since gained wide circulation, highlights the value of gratitude and humility, while urging people to acknowledge the contributions of others in their journey to success.
