The Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Arch.) Oludaisi Olusegun Elemide, will on Friday, October 10, 2025, commission several constituency projects facilitated by the lawmaker representing Ijebu North II (Ifelodun Constituency), Hon. Prince (Engr.) Odunuga Olusegun Ayodele Kaka.
The event, scheduled to hold at 10:00 a.m. in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, is part of Hon. Kaka’s ongoing efforts to deliver people-oriented projects that improve access to essential services across his constituency.
According to a statement made available to KosofePost, the projects cut across key sectors including water supply and healthcare, with a focus on sustainable community development.
Among the projects slated for commissioning are newly constructed boreholes in Ojude Olooto, Aba Paanu, Aredi Oke, and Young Ade communities, aimed at improving access to potable water and tackling water scarcity challenges in the area.
Also to be inaugurated is the Late Pa Otunba Solomon Oduyemi Health Centre at Lugbedu/Sala/Elega — a fully equipped facility expected to strengthen primary healthcare delivery within and around the community.
Beyond the commissioning, Hon. Kaka is expected to hold an interactive engagement with residents of Oru-Ijebu and Ibipe (Ward 08) as part of his accountability and constituency outreach initiative.
Speaking ahead of the event, Hon. Kaka reaffirmed his commitment to equitable representation and inclusive development.
“These projects represent our shared vision of development — one rooted in service, accessibility, and inclusion. We are building a future where essential services are not a privilege, but a right for every resident of our constituency,” he said.
He noted that the initiatives were aligned with the developmental agenda of the Ogun State Government under Governor Dapo Abiodun, CON, to drive sustainable growth and improve grassroots welfare.
The event is expected to attract government officials, traditional rulers, community leaders, and dignitaries from across Ogun State.
According to the organisers, the Speaker’s presence underscores the collective resolve of the Ogun State House of Assembly to deepen the impact of legislative representation and promote inclusive governance across the state.
