On Sunday, October 12, 2025, political commentator and social critic Kemac Emina, popularly known as “All Na Setting” or “All Na Kukurukuuu”, shared a metaphorical post reflecting on governance challenges in Kosofe Local Government and Kosofe Federal Constituency.

In his post titled “Kosofe LG & Kosofe Federal Constituency on My Mind,” Emina likened the local political situation to a story about a teacher and a thief on a crowded bus — symbolizing exploitation, misplaced trust, and public praise for corrupt benefactors.

According to the story, a teacher who had her salary stolen by a thief became embarrassed when she couldn’t pay her bus fare. Ironically, the thief offered to cover the fare with part of the stolen money, earning praise from other passengers. Emina used this allegory to highlight how some politicians misappropriate public funds and then use a portion of them to gain trust and admiration.

He wrote:

“We are all in a bus (Kosofe) where thieves are stealing from us and use the stolen money to buy our trust and earn our respect in a way that we keep thanking them for their kindness.”

Emina also warned of a “day of reckoning” for those mismanaging federal allocations and constituency funds:

“One day, I know that the thieves will be asked to account for all the federal allocations and constituency money they have received on behalf of the teachers… Kasongé yé yé!”

KosofePost’s Analysis

The post, made by a prominent member of the ruling APC, underscores recurring public frustration with local leadership and accountability in Kosofe. Observers note that APC members often oscillate between ruling and opposition roles during internal party disputes, while major opposition parties generally mobilize only closer to elections.

Emina’s allegory, couched in humor and satire, reflects broader concerns over transparency, fund mismanagement, and the urgent need for political accountability in the constituency.
