The Palace of His Royal Majesty, Oba Babatunde Saliu, Elebo II, the Oloworo of Oworonshoki Kingdom, has dissociated itself from the ongoing compensation exercise for residents affected by recent demolitions in Precious Seed and adjoining communities.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the monarch clarified that neither he nor the palace has any involvement in the coordination or distribution of compensation to affected residents.

According to the statement, the entire process is being managed solely by the Lagos State Urban Renewal Agency (LASURA) in collaboration with the Community Development Associations (CDAs) and the Community Development Committee (CDC) under the Kosofe Local Government Area.

Oba Saliu urged residents with concerns or questions about the process to direct their inquiries to LASURA or to the Kosofe CDC Chairman, Hon. Segun Babatunde, who is officially overseeing the exercise.

Reaffirming his commitment to peace, transparency, and the collective progress of Oworonshoki Kingdom, the monarch cautioned residents against misinformation, advising them to engage only with the appropriate authorities for accurate updates on compensation matters.
