City Boy Movement Appoints Hon. Bidemi Akintunde Oludayo as Director of Diaspora

The City Boy Movement has appointed Hon. Prince Akintunde Abidemi Oludayo popularly known as Stainless, as its new Director of Diaspora.

The appointment was announced on January 1, 2026, during the New Year address delivered by the Director-General of the Movement, Hon. Francis Oluwatosin Shoga. Bidemi Akintunde is a former chairmanship aspirant for Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Kosofe, Lagos State.

In his address, Shoga expressed appreciation to members of the Movement for their commitment and resilience since the conclusion of the last general elections. He noted that the City Boy Movement has continued to grow beyond electoral cycles, expanding its presence across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory. According to him, this growth is anchored on discipline, unity and a strong organisational structure.

Describing 2026 as a defining political year, Shoga said the period serves as a bridge between the current phase of governance and preparations for the 2027 general elections. He stressed that the year demands focus, consistency and strategic planning, adding that decisions and actions taken now would determine the Movement’s future political relevance.

The Director-General also reaffirmed the Movement’s loyalty to its Grand Patron and leader, Barrister Seyi Tinubu, whose vision and leadership, he said, continue to guide the organisation toward national service and responsible political engagement.

While announcing Prince Bidemi Akintunde ‘s appointment as Director of Diaspora, Shoga commended the efforts of state directors and leaders nationwide, describing them as critical to sustaining unity, coordination and grassroots effectiveness. He listed directors and leaders from several states, including Oyo, Lagos, Nasarawa, Ogun, Benue, Imo, Edo, the Federal Capital Territory, Plateau, Kwara, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Bauchi, Delta, Kogi, Ondo, Ekiti, Jigawa, Yobe, Borno and Kano.

Shoga disclosed that appointments for other states and chapters would be announced in due course as the Movement concludes its ongoing harmonisation and consolidation process. He urged members to extend full cooperation and support to newly appointed leaders in alignment with the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Concluding his address, the Director-General called for prayers, unity and maturity in leadership, urging members to move from preparation to performance and from vision to delivery in the year ahead.
