Former Supervisory Councillor for Youth in Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area, Mutiu Kalejaiye Afolabi, has expressed appreciation to the Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Adetola Adunni Abubakar, following his recent appointment.
Kalejaiye conveyed his gratitude in a statement shared with KosofePost on Saturday morning, acknowledging the support previously extended to him by the media platform. He also thanked the leadership and apex leaders of the council area for recognizing his contributions and considering him worthy of the new role.
“I wish to express my profound gratitude to God Almighty, the Executive Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Adetola Adunni Abubakar, and the entire Apex leaders of Agboyi-Ketu headed by PA Stephen Adeola Oyedele for finding me worthy of this appointment,” Kalejaiye said.
He further extended his thanks to friends, family members, and supporters for their prayers and encouragement, assuring them of his commitment to serve with humility and dedication.
“To my friends, family, and supporters, thank you for your unwavering prayers and encouragement. I accept this responsibility with humility and pledge to serve with diligence and integrity. On a final note, I say thank you, and God bless you all,” he added.
Kalejaiye concluded his appreciation message with the Yoruba phrase “Aye ope yo,” reflecting his gratitude and thanksgiving for the appointment.
