The Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has expressed shock and sadness over the death of prominent politician Kunle Sulyman, who passed away at the age of 81.
In a statement issued on Thursday by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, the governor described the late Sulyman as an outstanding statesman and a political institution who enjoyed the confidence and respect of people across different segments of society.
AbdulRazaq said the late politician would be greatly missed for his warmth, political maturity, and his notable contributions to the growth and development of politics in the state.
The governor also extended his condolences to the family of the deceased, praying that Allah grants Sulyman eternal rest in Al-Jannah Firdaus and gives his loved ones the strength to bear the loss.
Sulyman, a veteran political figure in Kwara State, died on Thursday at the age of 81.
