The Young Progressives Party (YPP) has unveiled a new campaign theme titled “The Alignment of Integrity,” aimed at positioning the party as a political platform for Nigerians seeking a departure from traditional politics.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the Lagos State Publicity Secretary of the party, Okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin, said the campaign represents a new direction for the country built on innovation, accountability, and service-driven leadership.

According to him, the concept reflects the need for younger and forward-thinking leaders to reshape Nigeria’s political landscape and deliver what he described as a “paradigm shift” in governance.

Oluwatoyin explained that the campaign message also draws inspiration from the symbolic significance of March 14, 2026, which he said represents transformation and the completion of an old political cycle.

He noted that the symbolism aligns with the party’s commitment to replacing what he described as “failed traditional politics” with a new generation of leadership focused on innovation and national development.

The YPP spokesperson added that accountability, discipline, and long-term planning remain central to the party’s agenda. He pointed to the conduct of the party’s primaries in the Federal Capital Territory Area Councils as an example of what he described as a transparent and methodical political process.

Oluwatoyin also called on Nigerian youths to take an active role in shaping the country’s political future by supporting leaders committed to integrity and national service.

The statement further referenced cultural and religious values across the country, noting that principles of justice, ethical leadership, and human dignity embedded in Nigeria’s diverse traditions align with the party’s vision for governance.

He said the Young Progressives Party would continue to promote technological innovation, social justice, and people-centred leadership as part of its broader strategy to reposition Nigeria for sustainable development.
