Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has initiated steps to address concerns over delays in administrative provisions for members of its Executive Committee, following a viral media report.

The development comes after a publication by KosofePost titled “Agboyi-Ketu LCDA Chair Silent Over Alleged Delay in Executive Committee Entitlements,” which raised issues regarding the welfare and official documentation of newly inaugurated officials.

According to sources within the council, the Chairman, Hon. Adetola Aduni Abubakar, directed that text messages be sent to affected Executive Committee members, instructing them to collect their employment letters.

The officials had been sworn in on March 6, 2026, amid reports that the inauguration took place without key administrative provisions, including employment letters, office allocation, and salary payments.

Insiders disclosed that shortly after the chairman was contacted over the situation, bulk SMS notifications were dispatched on Friday, informing members that their appointment letters were ready for collection.

The move is widely seen as a response by the council leadership to growing public concern, as well as an effort to clarify the status of the Executive Committee members and address gaps in their administrative onboarding.
