A legal practitioner, Mr. Oladipupo Ajayi, has declared his intention to contest for the Kosofe Constituency II seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Ajayi, who has over a decade of experience across the private and public sectors, made his ambition known in a statement on Monday, outlining his vision for legislative representation in the constituency.
He described his bid as a “call to legislative service,” stressing that his focus would be on policy advocacy, effective lawmaking, and amplifying the voices of constituents at the state level.
“Kosofe deserves purposeful representation—leadership that understands the needs of the people, protects their interests, and drives meaningful development through sound legislation and effective oversight,” he said.
The aspirant also pledged to promote inclusive development and collaborate with key stakeholders across the constituency to deliver impactful governance.
Ajayi expressed confidence in his readiness for the role, assuring residents of his commitment to representing their interests effectively if elected.
His declaration adds to the growing list of aspirants within the APC seeking the Kosofe Constituency II seat, as political activities continue to gather momentum ahead of the 2027 elections.
