KosofePost Publisher Condoles with Oba Alaashe-Elect Abeeb Adesina Akolawole Adeyemi Faronbi Over Wife’s Passing

The Founder and Publisher of KosofePost, Bilesanmi Abayomi, popularly known as Koko, alongside the editorial team, has extended heartfelt condolences to the Oba Alaashe-Elect, Abeeb Adesina Akolawole Adeyemi Faronbi, following the passing of his first wife, Alhaja Chief Mrs. Monsurat Adenike Taiwo-Faronbi.

In a condolence message released on Friday, the media platform expressed deep sympathy with the monarch-elect and his family over the loss, describing it as painful and irreparable. The statement offered prayers for the repose of the deceased, asking Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings and grant her Aljannah Firdaus.

KosofePost also prayed for strength, comfort, and fortitude for the royal father, the Faronbi family, and loved ones during this period of mourning.

Earlier, Abeeb Adesina Akolawole Adeyemi Faronbi had announced the passing of his wife in an emotional statement, confirming that she died on Monday, April 20, 2026.

“Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. This is to announce the sudden and unfortunate demise of my first wife, Alhaja Chief Mrs. Monsurat Adenike Taiwo-Faronbi (Mama-Okiki). May her industrious, enterprising, gentle and harmless soul rest in perfect peace. Aljannah Firdaus granted her, Almighty Allah,” he stated.

The late Alhaja Chief Mrs. Monsurat Adenike Taiwo-Faronbi was widely described as a virtuous woman known for her industrious nature, calm disposition, and commitment to family and community.

She is survived by her husband, children, and extended family members. Burial arrangements are expected to be announced by the family.
