The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Kosofe Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, Mayor Dele Oshinowo, has reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive representation following consultations with major religious leadership groups across the constituency.
The engagements, conducted under the campaign theme, “Stronger Representation, Stronger Kosofe,” saw Oshinowo’s campaign team, led by its Director-General, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, meet with leaders and members of the League of Imams and Alfas, Ikosi-Isheri Branch, and the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ikosi Branch.
During the meetings, the campaign team presented Oshinowo’s legislative agenda, highlighting grassroots engagement, equitable development and efforts to promote unity across the constituency.

The religious groups received the campaign delegation and offered prayers for the candidate, with representatives also expressing support for his candidacy ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking after the engagements, Oshinowo described interfaith dialogue as important to building a cohesive and inclusive constituency.

“This is the Kosofe we are building—one that listens, engages, and carries everyone along,” Oshinowo said. “The message continues to resonate across every corner of our constituency. The support is growing, and we are not slowing down.”
The APC candidate also called on residents to support the party’s candidates across the various elective positions, advocating an “APC from top to bottom” mandate.
The campaign organisation said its consultations would continue across the political wards and communities within the Kosofe Federal Constituency as preparations for the 2027 elections intensify.
