Mayor Dele Oshinowo, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Kosofe Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has intensified his grassroots campaign with an engagement involving artisans and tradesmen from across Greater Kosofe.
Oshinowo met with leaders and members of the Lagos State Council of Tradesmen and Artisans (LASCOTA) from the three Local Council Development Areas that make up the constituency: Kosofe, Ikosi-Isheri and Agboyi-Ketu.
During the meeting, Oshinowo outlined his vision of “Stronger Representation, Stronger Kosofe,” pledging an open-door approach and inclusive representation focused on the economic empowerment of small business owners and skilled workers.
“It was a valuable opportunity to engage directly, listen, share our vision for a stronger and more prosperous Kosofe, and reaffirm our commitment to inclusive representation that carries everyone along,” Oshinowo said in a statement after the meeting.
He added that the reception from the artisan community reflected growing support for the APC platform ahead of the 2027 general elections.
“The message of Stronger Representation, Stronger Kosofe continues to gain traction across every segment of our constituency. APC from top to bottom, and Greater Kosofe will speak with numbers in the next general election,” he said.
Some trade leaders at the meeting also expressed support for Oshinowo, citing his previous administrative experience and reported commitment to community development as reasons for backing his candidacy.
