Mayor Dele Oshinowo, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Kosofe Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has continued his grassroots campaign with a community-by-community outreach across several Community Development Associations (CDAs) in the constituency.
Under the “Stronger Representation, Stronger Kosofe” campaign banner, Oshinowo and his team engaged residents, community leaders and local stakeholders to discuss community concerns, the party’s platform and his vision for federal representation.
The first leg of the tour covered Araromi Sawmill, Araromi EH, Oriola, Oketiwa and Obek CDAs, where the campaign team held discussions with residents on infrastructure, local development and representation.
The delegation subsequently visited Bosunwad, First City, Ajayi-Oke, Fred, Ifeloju, Assons and Zone 4 CDAs as part of the second phase of the outreach.
The final leg took the campaign to Isale-Ifako, SAO, Ifako North, ZADE and Jumossar CDAs.
Speaking on the approach, Oshinowo said direct engagement with residents remained central to the campaign as the 2027 election approaches.
“We have taken the message of our great party and all our candidates directly to the people,” he said. “This is another opportunity to listen, engage, and remind the people that the work of building a stronger Kosofe requires all of us.”
Oshinowo said the campaign would maintain its community-level engagements across wards and streets in the constituency.
The campaign team described the reception across the communities visited as encouraging and said further grassroots engagements would continue ahead of the election.
