Mayor Dele Oshinowo (MDO), the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Kosofe Federal Constituency, has continued his grassroots campaign with a series of community engagements across parts of the constituency.

The outreach, anchored on his campaign theme of “Stronger Representation, Stronger Kosofe,” brought Oshinowo into direct discussions with residents, community leaders and representatives of Community Development Associations (CDAs) on local concerns and legislative priorities.

The campaign began with a meeting with the leadership of the Joint Orisha Magodo Community Development Associations, comprising Goodwill, Fountain River, Araromi Waterside, River View, Green Zone, Harmony, Valley View and Ore Ofe CDAs.

Discussions during the engagement focused on infrastructure, security and development priorities affecting communities within the axis.

Oshinowo subsequently visited Unilag Estate in Magodo, where he met with homeowners and other community members. The engagement provided an opportunity for residents to raise concerns around federal presence and constituency representation.

The campaign team also met with representatives of the Isheri North CDAs as part of its continued outreach across Greater Kosofe.

Speaking after the engagements, Oshinowo said the feedback from the communities reinforced the importance of maintaining direct communication between elected representatives and constituents.

He said the campaign would continue to engage communities as it seeks to build its agenda around the concerns and priorities raised by residents ahead of the 2027 election.
