Hon. Femi Saheed, the lawmaker representing Kosofe Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly, has said disputes arising from the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries have been resolved, urging supporters to unite behind the party’s candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Saheed made the statement during a stakeholders’ meeting with his supporters, where he addressed concerns previously raised by some party members over the outcome of the primaries.

According to the lawmaker, the party leadership intervened to resolve the disagreements and strengthen unity among members.

“All issues have been amicably resolved by the leadership of our great party,” Saheed said, adding that the resolution reflected the party’s commitment to moving forward as “one united progressive family.”

He called on his political associates and supporters across Kosofe Constituency II to activate their grassroots mobilisation structures and work towards the election of the party’s candidates across elective positions.

Saheed Endorses APC Candidates

As part of his call for unity, Saheed declared his support for the APC’s candidates, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Lagos State Deputy Governor Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, Senator Tokunbo Abiru, Mayor Dele Oshinowo and Dr. Murtala Seriki.

“I am throwing my full weight behind the election of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, Senator Tokunbo Abiru, Mayor Dele Oshinowo, and Dr. Muritala Seriki for a resounding victory in the January 2027 general elections,” he said.

Saheed’s statement signals an effort to consolidate support for the party’s candidates in Kosofe following the primaries. However, the extent to which the reported resolution has addressed the concerns of all aggrieved members was not independently established.
