Removal: Princess Samiat denies involvement as Soname’s Loyalist, Adlek Emerges Deputy Leader in Ikosi Isheri

The Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area, Executive Chairman, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, has distanced herself from the crisis which erupted at the Legislative Arm  today, which saw the removal of the deputy leader,Hon. Folashade Akinpelu.

Although fingers were pointed in the direction of the Chairman and the leadership of the All Progressives Congress in Kosofe, But Princess have denied that she had anything to do with  the removal of the lawmaker.

Folashade, a loyalist of  Member; House of  Representatives, representing Kosofe Federal Constituency at the lower Chamber of National Assembly  Hon. Rotimi Agunsoye, representing Isheri Olowoira; Ward A,  served as Deputy leader until Thursday morning, When She was removed in a rowdy closed-door plenary, where the leader  of  the House, Hon. Usman Ajibola Akanni reportedly walkout.

Not less than 4 of the 7 members of the legislative Arm supported the removal of Folashae Akinpelu, who was elected at the dawn of the late Engr. Abdulfatai Oyesanya administration.

Adeola Olalekan  aka Adlek, a loyalist of  Bet9ja founder, kunle Soname led Kosofe Integrity Movement (KIM),  councillor representing Ikosi Oke, Ward C, was immediately named  the deputy leader as replacement.

Speaking to this online Newspaper, Kosofe Post after the impeachment on phone the Ikosi Isheri Lcda Executive Chairman, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, denies involvement in Folashade impeachment. Princess said:  “I am not a legislator, I am not part of what is on going there, i don’t know what is happening there”

Both calls and messages sent to leader of Ikosi Isheri Lcda , Legislative Arm, Hon. Usman Ajibola Akanni , who was not affected by the change of  leadership  was not return as at the time of posting this report.
