The Lagos State Peoples Democratic Party( PDP) in the build up to the Lagos East Primary Election in 2018 have aspirants with unquestionable credentials that are suitable to fly the party flag.

The party Primary election scheduled to hold on October 5, 2018 beside the Pedro Police station did not hold. However, Princess Abiodun Oyefusi, was later announced as the winner to fly the party ticket during the 2019 Senatorial Election after she got Independent Electoral Commision ( INEC) authentic forms.

5 PDP Lagos East LGA Chairmen

Kosofe Post gathered from a reliable sources that the relationship between the PDP candidate, Princess Abiodun is not longer smooth with Epe, Ibeju Lekki and Kosofe Local government.

While her relationship with the other 2 other Local Governments; Somolu and Ikorodu LGA is rated to be around 70%. Consequently, She must improve her interpersonal communication with these other LGA chairmen and PDP stakeholders if she decided to give it a second shot.

65% VS 35% Groups

Some unresolved differences between these groups since after the general elections must now trigger conciliation and reconciliation most especially in Kosofe, If they’re truly prepared for good outing or total victory.

Covid-9 International Protocol

Posh told currently stranded in the United Kingdom over the last few months as result of the novel covid-19 pandemic that temporarily halts international flights to Nigeria according to a source.

Finance

Apart from the amount the candidate (s) cough out from their pockets during the last general elections. The Presidential Candidate of the PDP Financed the election of the Reps and Senate in no small measure. However, this is Lagos bye election, where presidential candidate funds will not be available. Thus, the party must devise a means of funding the election through choice of candidate visibility, popularity, antecedents, pedigree, contacts, access, cash at hand and election funding cash flow projection.

Posh Visibility

She is always seen on Twitter contributing to issue of national important. However, much can not be said about her activities and political programmes in Lagos East since the last election.

Like the case of Sen. Gbenga Ashafa the odds still favour princess Abiodun oyefusi of the Peoples Democratic Party to fly the Lagos East Ticket.

If Covid-9 International Protocol that got her stranded in United Kingdom and other factors prevent her from flying the party ticket. Then, Peoples Democratic Party should draft Babatunde Olalere Gbadamosi (BOG) into the race. No Position is too small to start from. Most importantly, apart from the power and money at the disposal of an elected governor, a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is superior to a Governor. Regardless, We have seen situation whereby a senator rose from Senator to become a Governor and vice versa.

Also, Babatunde Adisa aka Bob Tarner and Yeye Adenike Shobajo, who earlier shown their intent and expression of interest before the controversial announcement of Posh are key factors, the Lagos Peoples Democratic party might need to reachout to ahead of the nomination for Lagos East Bye election irrespective of the candidate based on legal cases or Total Victory for the party that will fly the party ticket.

Whoever that emerges from the platform of PDP will face the candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the Lagos East Bye election.
